I still remember when the first time I had step my feet in Japan. Owh..it was cool,,like stand on the moon..hahhahaa..just kidding..:p
It was July 8,2008. My plane had landed in Narita International Airport at 7.30 am. Then we made a group appropriate with the region,,I got Yamagata. After that we had had an immigration control checking. The immigration officer was different with in Soekarno-Hatta,,Immigration officer in Narita looked so friendly. They always smile to everyone and they always said Ohayou Gozaimasu/Konnichiwa/konbanwa and Arigatou Gozaimasu to the passenger. In Soekarno-Hatta they looked so arrogant.
And after got an immigration control checking,,we made a group again depend on our region. Oh ya,,we used a train to accross from one building to other building in Narita. Oh Gosh,,it was very large airport so that we had to used a train only for accross to another building.
Then we met our Japan Coordinator. Our group,,Yamagata,,got two wemen Japanese Coordinators. They accosted us when they saw our flag (green for Yamagata),,they were so friendly. Both of them could speak Indonesian clearly. Oh ya,,their name Tomoko and Keiko. Since Tomoko had been ever stayed for six years in Indonesia when she was in Junior High School to Senior High School in Manado and Keiko had been traveling to Indonesia more than ten times. Both of them said that they love Indonesia so much,,like they love their own country Japan.
After that,,we went to Asakusa Hotel,,in Asakusa Tokyo. We got an orientation from JICE (Japan International Coorporation Center) about our program as long as in Japan. We had lunch in Asakusa Sansada, near Senso-ji Temple, then we had a free time about an hour after lunch for shoping. Then, we took a picture together in font of Senso-ji Temple.
In the evening, we went to Ginza. We had dinner in Tapas & Tapas Restaurant. And then we went back to hotel again.
